Materials:

– Zest of 1 large orange

Execution:
In a small bowl, add the oil, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, cloves and zest. Mix the soda with the orange juice and add it to the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix the ingredients with a mixer for 2 minutes. Set the mixer aside and slowly add the flour that you have mixed with the baking powder and knead gently until the dough is soft and fluffy. Shape the melomakarona into the size and shape you want and place them on the baking sheet and in the oven you have preheated and bake them for about 20 minutes on the middle rack up and down until they are golden brown.

If you want even fewer calories, you can skip the syrup and eat them like cookies! They still taste great.
